✈️ DET 780 ODT SPOTLIGHT
C/Victoria Morris - Sliver Flag & FT Cadet Cadre
What are Officer Development Trainings (ODTs)? ODTs provide AFROTC cadets with hands-on opportunities to explore Air Force missions, gain insight into different career fields, and develop the leadership skills needed to become future officers.
C/Morris had the opportunity to participate in Silver Flag ODT and was an AFROTC Field Training Cadet Cadre member at Maxwell AFB, gaining valuable experience and lessons that will carry forward into her future Air Force career.
🔥 Silver Flag ODT: C/Morris experienced the RED HORSE mission and learned how Force Support Officers contribute to operations in a deployed environment. Her favorite moment was competing in the firefighter challenge and taking home first place!
⭐ FT Cadet Cadre: Through this experience, C/Morris strengthened her ability to prioritize resources, communicate effectively with higher-ranking officers, and address challenges when things don't go as planned.
These experiences demonstrate how ODTs help cadets connect classroom knowledge with real-world Air Force operations while building the skills, confidence, and leadership mindset needed to lead Airmen.
