The customers receiving water service on Kingsway and Wedgwood lane will be affected by a temporary water service interruption over the next few hours.

NOTICE TO HARBOR WATER CUSTOMERS – ELEVATED SALINITY

Harbor Water is currently experiencing elevated salinity in our source water due to the consistent high tides and seasonal low river levels. The current conductivity reading is approximately 1,258 µS/cm (microsiemens per centimeter), which is higher than our normal seasonal levels.

​The water remains SAFE, clean, and suitable to drink. Our water continues to be monitored and tested for the same drinking-water contaminants as required throughout the year. The current change is related to an increase in salt content from seasonal tidal influence, not an increase in other contaminants.

Customers may notice a stronger salty taste while these conditions continue.

For customers who prefer an alternative drinking-water source during this period, the Harbor Water truck will be available later today. Customers who have a medical condition requiring strict sodium or salt restrictions are encouraged to use bottled water or another low-sodium drinking-water source for consumption while salinity levels remain elevated. Harbor Water will continue monitoring salinity levels as tides and river conditions change and will keep customers informed of any significant updates.

✅ **UPDATE – WATER MAIN REPAIR COMPLETED**

**Harbor Water P.U.D. Customer Notice**

We are happy to report that the water main break on Anderson Lane has been successfully repaired, and **water service should now be restored to all customers.**

However, due to the significant amount of water lost during the break, our storage tanks are currently at lower-than-normal levels. As the system recovers and tank levels return to normal, **some customers in certain areas may continue to experience low water pressure until later tonight.**

⚠️ **IMPORTANT:** If you are still experiencing a complete loss of water service, please contact our emergency line so our operators can investigate.

Water Truck Update

The Harbor Water P.U.D. water truck will no longer be available beginning October 1, 2026, or once the current load of water has been used, whichever occurs first.

Until that time, the water truck will be available during the following hours:

7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Please plan accordingly if you would like to obtain water before the truck is removed from service.
