Yesterday, llamas came to visit Ann Bremer Education Center, and it was amazing to watch the students engage with animals many of them had never been so close to before. Some students were nervous at first, but by the end of the visit they were hugging their new furry friends. 🦙💜
A huge thank you to Carlson's LLoveable Llamas for bringing these adorable animals they brought so many smiles to our students.
And thank you to all the staff for the hard work and dedication you put into making special moments like this happen and helping brighten our students’ day.

Congratulations to Megan Dargis for winning the Above & Beyond Award at Ann Bremer Education Center! Megan is an is an Educational Support Professional and was nominated for achieving academic success, cultivating equity & inclusion, and promoting social-emotional learning.

Her colleagues said, "Megan time and time again shows her dedication to her students and the ABEC community as a whole. Between leading science, leading the charge on PBIS and Wellness, constantly coming up with creative projects, and finding new opportunities for others, she is a large part of what makes ABEC run. She's the best fit for this award, no question."
