7th grade U.S. History students took a trip through time as they experienced different decades in American history!
Starting with the 1950s, students entered a new decade each day to explore the music, games, fashion, news, movies, television, and culture that helped define each era. This hands-on experience brought history to life and helped students make deeper connections to what they have been learning in class.

New 7th grade GPS (Guides to Personal Success) leaders are already stepping into their leadership roles! This week they helped welcome 5th grade students from our different elementary schools as they learned what middle school is like and toured the building. We are so proud of our student leaders for helping future middle schoolers feel comfortable, confident, and excited for what’s ahead!

Last night was something special! Our Multicultural & STEAM Creativity Fair brought the building to life with energy, talent, and community—featuring incredible student STEAM projects, live rock band performances, powerful spoken word, a beautiful Hmong dance, and an unforgettable show from the Brooklyn Park Lion’s Drumline. Our Culinary Arts students added to the experience with delicious desserts from around the world and baked goods for sale, and we were proud to highlight Hmong authors sharing their stories and voices. With food trucks, packed hallways, and families coming together, it was a vibrant celebration of creativity and culture. Thank you to everyone who showed up and made the night so memorable!
