Today is National Custodial Worker’s Recognition Day, and we want to take a moment to celebrate two very important members of our team. ✨

Although our learning happens online, the OALC is our central hub where our office team works on site every day, and where other staff, students, and families gather whenever in-person support is needed.

Keeping a building clean, safe, and comfortable is essential to creating a positive learning and working environment—and our custodial staff, Ms. Chriss and Mr. Scott, work tirelessly behind the scenes to make that possible every single day.

We appreciate everything you do behind the scenes to keep our building safe, comfortable, and ready for connection. Thank you! 💜

GREAT SCOTT! It’s National Principals Month! ⚡

We're celebrating our leader, Ms. Swanson! Not every principal would dress up like Doc Brown in front of a DeLorean just to emphasize our theme of the year, but that’s just who she is.

Powering both 279Online and the Osseo Area Learning Center with 1.21 gigawatts of dedication, Ms. Swanson works tirelessly to ensure our teachers are supported and our scholars thrive no matter where or how they learn.

Going Back to the Future this school year means remembering our root purpose as educators so we can shape a brighter future for our scholars. Thank you, Ms. Swanson, for constantly championing our teachers and staff, keeping us true to our mission and leading our scholars into an extraordinary future. 🎓✨

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year!

Great Scott! 🚗⚡ Grab your hoverboards, adjust your flux capacitors, and set your temporal circuits—the new school year is officially here!

You don’t need 1.21 gigawatts to make this year legendary. Every new year is a clean slate, and as Doc Brown always says: "Your future is whatever you make it. So make it a good one!"

We’re ready for you! Welcome Back to YOUR Future!

All Minnesota K-12 students attending school in person will have a free breakfast and lunch available to them each academic school day due to the state of Minnesota's Free School Meals for Kids bill. However, it is still important for families to fill out the Educational Benefits application on EduTrakConnect to take advantage of several other benefits available to families who meet income requirements, including free or discounted costs for field trips, clubs/athletics, band instruments, home internet, test fees and more.

Please fill out the Educational Benefits application either on EduTrakConnect or via this link: https://frapp30.wordwareinc.com/?sso_token=eyJpdiI6ImxuQXg0ZGRJbXN5S1MyV0x0VHpjZXc9PSIsInZhbHVlIjoiNThhQzBHdVhxa1FDRDVmZXJYbnlSNWlHTDhJNFlkekpPd2VGWXBPc29KMD0iLCJtYWMiOiI1ZDc4MTc4YzAwOTRmZmZlMjUyZWRiZTcwYWQwZTBhNjI2NWQwNzg2MTA5ODBjNzllMDk3YmZjYzgzNGYwMTI3In0= #
