Please note: My office will be closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day as we honor and remember the brave men and women who served and sacrificed for our country, we thank all veterans and military families for their service.

There will be no trash, recycling, or curbside compost collection on Monday. Residents with Monday pickup should place materials out Monday evening for collection beginning Tuesday, May 26.

We’ll be joined by amazing partners including Gotham Health, Woodhull Hospital, community organizations, and local elected officials.

Starting May 18 through mid-June, the MTA will be conducting maintenance on the M Line between Myrtle-Broadway and Fresh Pond Rd. This includes steel repair and painting work to improve and extend the life of the structure. Residents and businesses may experience construction noise and temporary odors during this time.
