In The Fight Happy Hours are BACK! Join us at on Tuesday, September 14th at 7pm to hear from activist, advocate, and ITF member ! Lydia (she/her) will speak with us about her successful efforts to introduce weight discrimination legislation in New York State.
We'll hear about her experience navigating the legislative system and the grit and determination it took to get this crucial bill to the floor.

Our next in-person Happy Hour is coming up fast — this Tuesday, August 3rd at 7 PM, at Emblem! We'll be hosting activist and Co-Founder of the Intersex Justice Project, Sean Saifa Wall! Saifa (he/him) will discuss intersex justice issues and an upcoming march on August 7, calling for an end to “corrective” surgeries at Weill-Cornell Hospital.

Walking us through the legalese will be community attorney and recent City Council candidate, ! Drawing from his professional experience, Stu will help us better understand this (until recently) largely unknown aspect of our legal system, one that is deeply tied to issues around senior care, mental health, and disability rights.
