We joined to celebrate the Freelance Isn’t Free Act. If you’ve done the work, sent the invoice, and waited months for the check, that frustration is real, and the city should have your back. A decade after the Act passed, freelancers are still getting stiffed. We introduced the Freelancers Payment Fund to make sure they get paid on time. Let’s get this done.
