Bureaucracy cannot be the enemy of “getting s**t done.” In that spirit, we’re introducing legislation, in partnership with and , to cut red tape and empower the city to act faster against unconscionable business practices.

Unconscionable business practices can include charges imposed without people’s knowledge or the doom loop of endless dead ends with AI chatbots. 

But the days of New Yorkers being taken advantage of by businesses that bet you’re too busy to fight back are ending. We cannot cede the fight for efficiency and less red tape to those who only pretend to support it and then appease the corporations that make life harder for New Yorkers.
