In this week's installment of "Up Front & Personal," Paul Morisi, principal of Bay Ridge Catholic Academy in the Diocese of Brooklyn, reflects on how the completion of the school year may mark a season of endings, but in Catholic education endings are never that simple.

"This is what makes Catholic education different," he writes. "It does not simply prepare students for high school, college, or careers. It prepares them for life in its fullest sense."

Governor Hochul is showing support for the new Federal Scholarship Tax Credit program, which could bring major new scholarship funding to help more students attend private and Catholic schools.

We encourage you to visit nyscatholic.org and urge Governor Hochul to make New York’s opt-in official so these dollars can benefit New York students and families.”
