Philanthropists are the opposite of opportunistic sociopaths. They quite simply love humans. Not all philanthropists are fabulously wealthy. Some are, of course. But highest honors in this realm go to those have made far more modest contributions, and who are in fact absolutely penniless, for having already given every last penny and ounce of energy they have to the cause of humanity.
