Today, 1st graders at PS 282 had an amazing Career Day with Chief Edwardโ€™s and Detective Diggs, who took the time to speak with our students about bravery, kindness, respect, and the importance of helping others in the community. ๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ’™

The students loved learning about police work, seeing the police vehicle up close, and asking so many thoughtful questions! Most importantly, they were reminded that being a hero starts with caring for others and making good choices every day.

A huge thank you to these officers for inspiring the students and making such a positive impact on the school community
