Today, 1st graders at PS 282 had an amazing Career Day with Chief Edwardโs and Detective Diggs, who took the time to speak with our students about bravery, kindness, respect, and the importance of helping others in the community. ๐ฎ๐ฝโโ๏ธ๐
The students loved learning about police work, seeing the police vehicle up close, and asking so many thoughtful questions! Most importantly, they were reminded that being a hero starts with caring for others and making good choices every day.
A huge thank you to these officers for inspiring the students and making such a positive impact on the school community
