Happy New Year to you all from NABMW Brooklyn chapter🫡💪🏾

12/14/2025

NABMW proudly attended at Cypress Hills cemetery in Brooklyn, joining hands to honor our fallen soldiers by placing wreaths on their graves during this holiday season.
This year, only 996 wreaths were secured due to budget cuts, yet over 2,700 soldiers are laid to rest at Cypress Hills. That means next year must be bigger, stronger and more impactful.
We were honored to stand alongside incredible partners including , , cadets from the Civil Air Patrol, JROTC students from Benjamin Cardozo HS, and all united in remembrance and respect. Shout out to the truck serving hot chocolate, coffee and snacks from NABMW was presented with a small decorated tree from Gold Star Mothers as a thank you for our support and commitment to honoring our veterans.
Each year, NABMW is humbled to partner with Wreaths Across America and Cypress Hills Cemetery to ensure our heroes are never forgotten, especially during the holidays. Their service lives on and so does our commitment.
They served, we remember 🕊️

As you gather with your loved ones today please say a prayer for all of the troops who are away from their loved ones and may be feeling home sick. Please continue to support military service people from all branches, we need you!
NABMW would like to express our gratitude for our many supporters over the years. Our commitment to veteran support would not be possible without help from our families and friends, for that we are thankful and grateful🫡
