Elmy’s Special Services’ Weekend Respite program offers several benefits that can significantly improve the quality of life for both the child and the family. These benefits include improved relationships, socialization skills and independence. Services are provided by exceptional staff every Saturday and Sunday. Youth must be between the ages of 5 and 20. Tanya Mitchell joined our New Jersey team as a Program Supervisor in 2021 and what keeps her here isn’t just the work. It’s the people, the mission, and an organisation that genuinely invests in those who show up for the community every day.

At Elmys, we serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families across New York and New Jersey; including communities that have historically been overlooked.
