Wow what a game Beacon Elite championship won by back to back champion undefeated Vista Academy over the 3 seed Bushwick Ballers Vista led by two players, Ariel who banged 4 three pointers and had a game high and season high 25 points also a huge game by Jeremy a huge double double 21 points and 21 rebounds. Congratulations to both teams for making it to the chip. story of the game Bushwick dominated the 1st half of the game but tightened up in the second half. Both teams actually did that while players and both coaches seem to focus more on calls than strategies and necessary analogies to win the game the difference in the game was Bushwick seemed to get caught up in that negativity and instead of fighting and scrapping to win made numerous mistakes missing lay ups pumping instead of going straight up traveling etc, while the Vista players played through calls and all the complaining from coaches and got it done to pull away and win the 2017 Beacon Elite Basketball championship powerful humble speech by the winning coach Duran to all players the Beacon and families. Tyshaun Bruce won the Little Bigman of the year award, outstanding parent of the year award Ms Victoria Carro Fernandez for her outstanding service to the community and to the Beacon. It was a great night at the CHENY Beacon!

THE SECOND GAME OF THE NIGHT WOW #3 SEED BUSHWICK HAD A 12 POINT LEAD WITH 8 MINUTES REMAINING AND ALMOST BLEW THE GAME AGAIN! WITH MULTIPLE TURNOVERS
#2 PENN WORTMAN MADE A FIERCE COMEBACK TO TAKE THE LEAD WITH ABOUT 4 SECONDS BY ONE
BUSHWICK CALLED A TIMEOUT AND RAN A PLAY WHERE ADONIS AKA ATTACK MODE WAS WIDE OPEN FOR THE GAME WINNING BASKET TO MAKE IT TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP VERSUS VISTA WHO THEY PLAYED TOUGH LAST WEEK BUT ENDED UP LOSING TO IN OVERTIME.
THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME WILL BE TUESDAY MARCH 28th at 6:30 PM...
