Finally, a partial win!! Our Food & Water Watch - New England lawsuit will force the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to redo its environmental assessment of Tennessee Gas Pipeline's Agawam, MA compressor station to account for the downstream greenhouse gas emissions. Unfortunate that the DC Court found that Berkshire Env. Action Team didn't have standing, so they didn't address the arguments on air pollution and safety.

Third unplanned gas release from the Weymouth compressor station!! And still no red alert from the town! The Fore River Residents Against the Compressor Station are asking if there is a 3 strikes rule! PHMSA needs to come back in and rescind their permission for Enbridge to operate the facility, and FERC needs to rescind their Order allowing operation and the project approval. !
🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ Triple face-palm, Campers. We want to know from FERC and PHMSA if there is a three-strike policy. Once we find out how much they spewed into the Basin, we will let you know!

FERC has opened a public comment period on the Weymouth compressor station. The DC Court has ruled in Allegheny v. FERC that they should answer rehearing requests in the 30 days that Congress allowed them. They have neither granted nor denied FRRACS and Food & Water Watch's rehearing request on their order to go into operation. The deadline for their response was November 23rd. The comment period is open for 45 days, and then there's a reply comment period for 30 days. So, they are "listening," but not acting, ie. fully admitting that their original review was inadequate.
