North Brooklyn Chamber

Join the North Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce & the Steering Committee for an information session about the proposed Northside Business Improvement District (BID). Learn what a BID is, how it’s formed, and how it can benefit our local community through services like sanitation, public safety, small business advocacy, events, marketing, and more. This session will provide business owners with the opportunity to better understand the proposal, ask questions, and get involved in shaping the future of our neighborhood.

*For this event we are focused on small business owners in the area bounded by the Williamsburg waterfront, the east side of Bedford Avenue, North 15th street, and the south side of Grand street. (swipe for the map).

On Tuesday, April 29th, we’ll be producing a hyperlocal Small Business Expo
at the Arlo Williamsburg Hotel.
Doors will open at 1:00pm and the event will run until 5:00pm, at which time there will be a Networking Happy Hour at the hotel’s Lobby Bar.
The expo is Free Of Charge, funded [in part] through a Grant with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Come With Questions.  Leave With Answers.

The expo will include informative resource tables featuring NYC Small Business Services, NYC Dept. of Worker & Customer Protection, NYC Office of Nightlife, Freelancers Union, Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, Evergreen, Brooklyn Allied Bars & Restaurants, NYPD, Northside Business Improvement, Shop Small Greenpoint, Chase Bank, Apple Bank, Dime Bank, Kearny Bank, and the North Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.

There will also be a series of engaging panel discussions held during the expo.  Topics for these discussions will be: 
1:15pm - The Whiskey Wednesday Entrepreneurs Will Share Their Stories and Answer Your Questions  
2:10pm - BABAR & Office of Nightlife Discuss Problems, Services & Solutions
3:10pm - New Trends in Recreational Sports...featuring Vital Climbing Gym, X-Golf Brooklyn, Bury The Hatchet, and Goodland Pickleball.
4:15pm - Meaningful Networking: The Secret to Small Business Success
At 5:00pm we’ll move into the hotel’s Lobby Bar for a Networking Happy Hour.  First drink is on us!
