If you apply for a new library card, not just replace an old or worn out one, in any library in Brooklyn on October 3, you will be entered into a drawing to win a $50 Amazon gift card. Each library should have some sort of event planned. The Flatlands Library will feature a kids concert from Isaac and Friends at 2 PM, a teen button making program at 2 PM and an adult fall craft making program at 3 PM. It's too late for me, I signed up in 1975 at the Dyker Branch. My father even paid extra to have the card laminated, but don't miss your chance.
