The Spring Creek Towers Fall Fest & Family Fun Day was nothing short of spectacular!
Under crisp fall skies, the lawn was completely transformed into a vibrant, festive open-air celebration; alive with upbeat music, exciting activities, colorful decor, and a warm, inviting energy that drew families together.

Special appreciation to Ms. Danisha Bailey, VP & Chief of Staff, for graciously inviting our office and hosting such a welcoming and exciting event for the residents.
My office was represented by staffer Jennifer Viechweg Horsford.

The George K. Campbell Scholarship | 20th Annual Fundraising Luncheon: Turning pain into purpose, power, and possibility!

The 20th Annual George K. Campbell Scholarship Fundraising Luncheon was an extraordinary celebration of resilience, legacy, and community investment!
The event was joined by members of the clergy, elected officials including Deputy Leader Chris Banks, Assemblywoman Monique Chandler-Waterman, the wonderful “Friends for Life Families”.

From a powerful, insightful keynote address by Mr. Winston Von Engel, to great food, vibrant fellowship, and celebration on the dance floor, the energy in the room was truly inspiring.

Proud to issue New York State Citations recognizing this year’s outstanding honorees, with staffer Jennifer Viechweg Horsford, representing our office on this momentous occasion.

Street Co-naming —Teri Cadet-Donald.
It was a profound privilege to attend the Official Co-Naming ceremony to commemorate the life and contributions of Teri Cadet-Donald.

Teri was a vital pillar of our community whose dedication, particularly to uplifting and guiding our youth, created ripples that will be felt for decades.
The overwhelming attendance by elected officials, civic leaders, local organizations, and residents was a testament to the lives she touched daily.

I extend my heartfelt appreciation to Council Member Mercedes Narcisse and the dedicated organizers including the Executive Director of Millennium Development, Mr. Paul Curiale and the members of Community Board 18 who championed this well-deserving honor. Her legacy doesn't end here; it moves through everyone she mentored and inspired.

Thank you to her family, especially her husband and daughter.
