RJH, Welcome to Red Ribbon Week! Please see the flyer below and encourage your Falcon to participate.

Our students' safety is the most important thing. In order to be safe, they must be aware and empowered to make great decisions. Please help us to reinforce your expectations and our goal that each of our students is making the best choices possible to ensure their success.

We are hoping for 100% participation. Please assist us by reminding your child that all dress code items worn must be in compliance with RISD dress code so they have the best experience.

We appreciate your support.

RJH Teen Leadership class surprised Dr. Carrington with some appreciation for National Principal's Month. One of the students told her that she appreciated her for listening and understanding. Relationships matter at RJH. Happy Principal's Month, Dr. C.!

Happy Principal's Month, Dr. Carrington!

October is Principal Appreciation Month!

Join us in celebrating the incredible leaders who serve our Falcon students, staff, and families each day!

🌟 Katacha Miller – Royal Early Childhood Center
🌟 Daniel Martinez – Royal Prairie Elementary
🌟 Ashley Cook – Royal Elementary
🌟 Dr. Felecia Carrington – Royal Junior High
🌟 Katelyn Miksch – Royal STEM Academy
🌟 Marangelly Harris – Royal High School

Throughout October, we invite our Falcon community to show our principals a little extra appreciation! A favorite treat, a handwritten note, a kind word, or a simple “thank you” is a wonderful way to let them know their leadership and dedication are appreciated.

Help us fill October with kindness and celebrate the principals who help make Royal ISD a great place to learn and grow! ❤️

September 29 was a great day of learning for all RJH staff.

The morning included a focus on the impact of Teacher Belief Systems taught by Dr. Carrington followed by the 5 Evidence-Based Practices of Classroom Management by Ms. Landry from Region IV. Staff focused on implementation practices to create a supportive environment for all Falcons. We are being intentional about building bridges to success and overcoming barriers.

The learning continued in the afternoon as our teachers grew by strengthening their toolbox with the curriculum. We are excited about growing our students.

Excellence Is the Standard and Failure IS NOT an option at RJH. Let's go, Falcons!

We have an amazing team at RJH and we wanted to celebrate them.

The day began with a surprise breakfast bar, "Thanks a Latte!" There were smiles all around!

Thanks and appreciation goes to our team for all you do daily. Together, we can accomplish anything!
