Tonight, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank everyone who contributed so generously during our recent Pink Out events!

Thanks to the generosity of our students, staff, community members, Brookville Band Boosters, Athletic Boosters, Image Paving, and Brookville Flower Shop, we are proud to support the fight against female cancers through Pink Ribbon Good.

On the field tonight, Superintendent Mr. Jason Wood, Principal Mr. Jason Stephan, and our Relay for Life team captains presented a check for $4,500 to Ms. Abby White of Pink Ribbon Good!

These funds will help provide healthy meals for entire households, transportation to treatment appointments, and other essential services—all free of charge—to allow clients and their families to focus on what matters most: the fight against cancer.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to each and every one of you for your generosity and support. Together, we are making a difference and reminding those facing cancer that NO ONE travels this road alone!

Next week our district will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week 2026 – this year’s theme is: Make a Difference. Be a Hero. Stay Drug Free

Red Ribbon Week is celebrated every year during the last week of October to raise awareness about the dangers of substance abuse. The entire district will be participating in a spirit week to support Red Ribbon Week. Daily spirit week themes can be found below. At school, students will hear prevention messages and tips related to taking care of themselves during announcements. BIS and BHS students will also have the opportunity to participate in activities planned by Hope Squad members that promote a drug free and healthy lifestyle during lunch. Student Body President Andrew Stammen and Vice President Mackenzie Tait are kicking off our very first Trivia Tuesday video! Every other week, we’ll challenge our Brookville community with a new trivia question and a chance to show off your Blue Pride.

Drop your answer in the comments below! If you answer correctly, your name will be entered into a random drawing for some Brookville gear!

We invite all veterans and their immediate family to join us on November 11 at 1:30 PM for our Veterans Day Celebration! Join us in the high school gymnasium for a special presentation honoring all who have served, followed by light refreshments in the library. We look forward to coming together to honor and thank the brave men and women who have served our country.

An update from the highest office in Brookville this morning:

“Well made it through the night! Maybe next time I do this I should do it in August! 😂 A huge thank you to brookville_relay4life for all their work this fall! I am super proud of each of you for going above and beyond to help those who battle cancer! Thank you to everyone who supported all of the events this fall! ”

What an incredible night! Our community raised a whopping $4,386 for cancer research through our Pink Out Fundraiser, smashing our $3,600 goal by $786! Thank you to everyone who donated, participated, and showed up to support the Brookville Relay for Life Team. Your generosity is making a meaningful difference in the fight against cancer, and we couldn't be more grateful.

Lets hope Mr. Stephan packed something warm, found a good rain jacket, and remembered that the roof doesn't come with room service! Thank you, Brookville, for proving once again that when our community comes together, amazing things happen.
