🚒 MOST PEOPLE SEE THE RESPONSE… BUT FEW SEE WHAT HAPPENS INSIDE THE TRUCK.🚒
When we’re responding to a call, you may see the lights, hear the sirens, and watch us pass by.
But what you don’t see is what’s happening inside the apparatus.
Inside the truck, firefighters are communicating, reviewing the call information, putting on their gear, preparing equipment, checking assignments, and mentally preparing for what they may encounter when those doors open.
Every second matters. Every firefighter has a job. Every response is different.
🚨PLEASE REMEMBER: When you see an emergency vehicle approaching with lights and sirens, slow down, safely move to the right, and come to a stop when possible. Give us the room we need to get through safely.🚨
You never know who is waiting for us at the other end of that call — and every second can make a difference.
The next time you see us heading down the road, remember there’s much more happening inside that truck than what you can see from the outside.
We train for the moments you hope never happen.
We respond when you need us most.
We do it for our community
