Bruceton School's annual Veterans Day program is Tuesday, November 10th at 9:00am in the gym. We'd like to welcome all area veterans and a guest to the event. Due to space limitations inside the gym with our full student body, band, and choir, we are only able to accommodate veterans a guest for the event. Our annual Veterans Breakfast will be in the cafeteria beginning at 8:00am. We ask all veterans and their guest to not arrive to school until 7:45am to allow for morning parent drop-off to be completed. Thank you to our Academic Boosters for sponsoring the Veterans Breakfast.

Bruceton Bus Announcement: Bus 50-25's B-Run will be driven this afternoon by Bus 5-19, Jim Eisentrout. This will result in a 30-40 minute delay of students on that route being dropped off.

CORRECTION:
The transportation department has now notified us that bus 5-19 (Jim Eisentrout) will be driving and delivering the B run of students that normally ride bus 50-25 (Bill Knotts) this evening. Students who normally ride bus 50-25 (Bill Knotts) will still be arriving home approximately 45 minutes late.

ORIGINAL, BUT CORRECTED MESSAGE:
We have just been notified by the transportation department that bus 50-25 (Bill Knotts) will be a 'B' run this evening, Wednesday, November 4th due to a lack of substitute drivers. At dismissal, students who normally ride bus 50-25 (Bill Knotts) will board and ride bus 5-19 (Jim Eisentrout).

Mr. Eisentrout will run his normal route and then run Mr. Knotts' route. Students who normally ride bus 50-25 (Bill Knotts) will arrive home approximately 45 minutes late this evening as a result. If you would like to change your child's dismissal method to parent-pickup due to this change, please contact the school as soon as possible at 304-379-2593.

Middle school boys basketball tryout dates have changed. They will now be Tuesday and Wednesday, November 10th and 11th from 7:00 - 8:30pm in the gym. All prospective athletes must have a current sports physical to give to the coach or on file here at the school.

Our third graders had an amazing time visiting WVU’s Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering today!

Students got to put their engineering skills to the test by building sailboats, launching straw rockets, mining glitter, playing robot pong, and even riding the PRT!

It was a day full of hands-on learning, creativity, and fun! We definitely have some future engineers on our hands!
