As a proud veteran-owned community, Memorial Day holds a special place in our hearts. This tradition began in the years following the Civil War, when communities gathered to place flowers and flags on the graves of fallen soldiers. Originally known as Decoration Day, Memorial Day honors the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.

While many enjoy time with family and friends this weekend, we also pause to remember those who gave their lives in service to our nation. The federal holiday also calls on Americans to pray for permanent peace.

Today and always, we remember, honor, and give thanks. 🇺🇸

Almost forgot to mention something incredibly special! This week, we had a pop-in visit from our friends at the Ohio Department of Health — two state surveyors (one RN and one LNHA) spent two days with us, and we are incredibly proud to share that our survey was deficiency free!

Many healthcare communities get nervous when state walks through the doors, but our team is always prepared because we truly believe in the rules and regulations set forth by ODH, ODA, Medicaid, and all governing agencies. Those regulations exist for a reason — to protect residents and ensure the highest quality of care possible — and that mission aligns directly with the heart behind Plum Creek Assisted Living.

Healthcare is constantly evolving, and rules and regulations continue to change, but one thing that always remains the same is the purpose behind why Plum Creek was built and continues to thrive — ensuring the very best quality of life for our residents each and every day.

This accomplishment is a direct reflection of our amazing team. From nursing, dietary, housekeeping, maintenance, activities, administration, and every role in between — it truly takes all of us working together to make remarkable things happen. They made Nurses Week extra special by bringing in 7 Brew for our entire crew!☕️ What a thoughtful surprise and such a fun way to celebrate the amazing nurses and caregivers who give so much of themselves every single day.

National Nurses Week celebration is still going strong! 💗

This week we’ve continued the fun with Taco Tuesday, Subs on Wednesday, and Root Beer Floats today! 🌮🥪🥤 Plus our daily pink prize drawings are still going strong and bringing lots of smiles along the way!

We are so thankful for our incredible nursing team and all they do each and every day. The love, compassion, patience, and dedication they pour into our residents never goes unnoticed. We truly are blessed with the best! 💕

We were so excited to kick off Nurses Week today with bagels and bouquets, pink gifts for each of our nurses, a raffle basket drawing, and pizza. We are incredibly grateful for the compassion, dedication, and care our nursing team provides each and every day.
