A traffic stop conducted by the Bryan Police Department resulted in the recovery of two prohibited fi****ms equipped with G***k switches. These devices convert semi-automatic pistols into fully automatic weapons capable of firing multiple rounds in a matter of seconds.

Officers also recovered two 30-round extended magazines. During the investigation, officers determined that one of the fi****ms was a “ghost gun,” meaning it had no serial number or identifying markings.

Thanks to the work of our officers, these dangerous weapons are no longer on the streets of our community.

This incident serves as a reminder of the dangers law enforcement officers face every day while working to protect the communities they serve. We commend our officers for their professionalism and dedication to keeping Bryan safe.

Great work, officers!
