🍰🍫 SWEET TOOTH SHOWDOWN AT PROJECT UNITY! 🍌🍓

We asked our Project Unity team a VERY important question… What’s your favorite dessert? 👀

And apparently, we have some SERIOUS dessert enthusiasts around here! 😂

🏆 TIED FOR FIRST PLACE: Banana Pudding and Brownies!

🍰 Cheesecake and Strawberry Cheesecake weren’t far behind!

And then we had everything from tiramisu and peach cobbler to crème brûlée, tres leches, and even someone who simply answered “ANYTHING!” 🤣🙌

Honestly, we respect that answer. No dessert discrimination here! 😂

At Project Unity, we work hard serving our communities, but we also love finding fun ways to get to know the people who make our mission possible. ❤️

Now we need YOUR help settling the debate!

👇 TEAM BANANA PUDDING 🍌 or TEAM BROWNIES 🍫?

Or is there a dessert on this list that deserves the crown? Let the dessert wars begin! 🏆

💙 YOU SHOWED UP.

Brazos Valley Gives is over, and because of this community, Project Unity raised $4,340.00.

That number matters because it represents people choosing to invest in people.

Families.
Children.
Youth.
Pregnant moms.
Parents working hard to build something better.

Over the last few weeks, we’ve shared stories, introduced you to some of our staff, talked about the work happening every day, and invited you to be part of it.

And you responded.

You gave.
You shared our posts.
You watched our videos.
You told other people about Project Unity.

That kind of support means more than we can put into one post.

We are deeply grateful for every person who chose to stand with us during Brazos Valley Gives.

$4,340 will go back into the work.
Back into our community.
Back into serving people with dignity, practical support, and hope.

We may have set out with a bigger number in mind, but today we are choosing to celebrate what this community made possible.

$4,340 raised.
A community that showed up.
And work that continues.

From all of us at Project Unity — thank you. Truly.

For Empowerment. For Hope.

💙 This is what community support looks like in action.

In this video, Cathy Carpio is hard at work preparing food and essential items that will go directly to families in our community.

Sometimes supporting a family means counseling, education, or connecting them to resources. Other times, it means making sure they have something as practical and immediate as food on the table.

That’s the heart of Project Unity — meeting people where they are and responding to real needs in real ways.

Today, on Brazos Valley Gives Day, your support helps make moments like this possible.

💙 Meet Joe Wilson, one of Project Unity’s Family Support Facilitators.

People like Joe are at the heart of what we do.

Every day, our Family Support Facilitators walk alongside children, parents, and families through difficult seasons—listening, encouraging, connecting them to resources, and empowering them to take meaningful steps forward.

In this video, Joe shares a little about the work he does and why it matters.

This is the kind of impact your support makes possible during Brazos Valley Gives.

When you give to Project Unity, you’re investing in real people building real relationships with families across our community.

💙 This is what your support looks like in real life.

Behind every program, every service, and every donation are real people doing the work — meeting needs, delivering resources, encouraging families, and showing up for our community.

That’s why Brazos Valley Gives matters.

Your gift helps Project Unity continue putting resources directly into the hands of the people who need them and allows our team to keep showing up, one family at a time.

Today is the day. Will you help us reach our $15,000 goal?

💙 TODAY IS THE DAY — BRAZOS VALLEY GIVES! 💙

For the past several weeks, we’ve been sharing the stories behind the work of Project Unity.

Stories of families finding stability.
Young people learning how to navigate anxiety and difficult seasons.
Parents building stronger homes.
Individuals getting connected to resources, support, and hope.

Today, we’re asking our community to stand with us.

Our goal is $15,000 — and every gift helps move us closer.

Whether you give $25, $50, $100, or more, your generosity helps Project Unity continue walking alongside people across the Brazos Valley with practical support, encouragement, and connection.
