One of the prizes for the first-place winners of our Fire Prevention Week coloring contest is breakfast at the station with the crews—and this morning, we had the pleasure of welcoming the winners from Parkway Elementary! 🚒🔥

The students enjoyed a good, firehouse-cooked breakfast, a tour of the station, and a chance to get up close with the trucks and equipment.

Later this afternoon, our Fire Marshal and E3 crew visited Parkway Elementary for a Fire Prevention demonstration and presented trophies to the top three coloring contest finishers in each grade. 🏆

Thank you, Parkway Elementary, for a wonderful day and for helping us make fire prevention fun and memorable for our students.

🚒🔥 Tomorrow kicks off 2026 Fire Prevention Week! 🔥🚒

Every day this week, we’ll be visiting an elementary school in Bryant to talk about fire safety with students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade.

We’ll also be presenting trophies to the winners of our annual Fire Prevention Week Coloring Contest! 🏆🎨

This year’s theme is “Charge Into Fire Safety!” 🔋⚡

We’re excited to spend the week teaching our youngest community members how to stay safe and helping them build good fire-safety habits from an early age.

🚒 Meet Truck 1!

With our newest fleet addition, Truck 1, now in service, we thought we’d highlight each of our apparatus and share a little information about how they help us protect the citizens of Bryant.

Truck 1 is a 101-foot Rosenbauer Platform featuring an 8-foot articulating jib. This gives our crews the ability to reach over parapet walls, reach up to 20 feet below grade, and provide elevated fire streams when needed.

Truck 1 responds from Station 1 and provides aerial support to all three fire districts in Bryant. Its primary mission is responding to multi-story structures and in Districts 1 and 2 and commercial structures.

In addition to its aerial capabilities, Truck 1 is equipped with extrication and medical equipment to support our crews during motor vehicle accident responses and medical emergencies.

🚨 Be on the lookout for this new apparatus as you see it out around town!

We’re proud to add Truck 1 to our fleet and expand the capabilities we can bring to the citizens of Bryant. 🚒
