Town of Bucksport, Maine The Town of Bucksport is located at the head of Penobscot Bay, and is home to approximately 5,000 people. www.bucksportmaine.gov

Since the first settlers arrived in 1763, the town has experienced Revolutionary War naval battles, stagecoach visits from five presidents, and even a legendary witch's curse that continues to this day. A major feature of the town is the downtown waterfront area, which draws folks from miles around to enjoy both its recreational and business offerings.

Beginning Thursday, October 15th you can license your pups 6 months and older for 2027. February 1, 2027 begins the $25 late fee charge per dog.

*Please remember we need current rabies certificate and spay/neuter documention if the dog has been altered. Altered $6, unaltered $11

Election Day - Tuesday, November 3rd 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. 66 Bridge St, G.H. Jewett School
PLEASE BE AWARE THE ENTRANCE WILL BE THE LEFT SET OF DOORS. THE MAIN ENTRANCE (RIGHT SET OF DOORS) INTO THE BUILDING WILL BE LOCKED.
Handicap Parking and entrance will be through the back parking lot.
