Bucyrus Police Auxiliary Unit

I would like to thank Officer Noah and Micah Graves as well as the Auxiliary Officers that assisted with the setup and running of the Trunk or Treat booth today at the Linda Friend Memorial Spooktacular.

It truly would not have been possible without their help. It has been my goal to grow our involvement and setup each year. Given my current situation, I relied heavily on the assistance of these officers and they did not disappoint. I cannot thank them enough.

It was a great turnout and a wonderful time.

We would like to congratulate former Bucyrus Police Auxiliary Unit Sgt. Ethan Huff on his successful completion of the Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Academy as he graduated today.

Ethan served with the Bucyrus Police Explorers prior to joining the Auxiliary Unit where he finished at the rank of Sergeant prior to being selected to attend the trooper academy.

Ethan was an outstanding member of our department and has been truly missed. We are proud of his accomplishments and wish him the best in his future with the patrol.

We had a busy Bratwurst Festival this year and didn’t get a chance to get a photo of all the Auxiliary Officers who assisted with patrol operations.

I’d like to thank Auxiliary Officers Zachary Eisnaugle, Jacob Carr, Bradyn and Bryson Hunt, and our newest Probationary Officer Keegan Elchert for all their support each day of the event.

A special congratulations to Officer Eisnaugle (photographed below) who was promoted to the rank of Sergeant with the Auxiliary Unit. He has shown an exceptional commitment to the unit and the community in the last year.
