Coffee, Donuts, and Discussion...YES PLEASE! 👏

Have questions on how City government works and how you can get involved? We love answering them!

The City is excited to host an in-person panel and Q&A session focused on how local city government works and the many ways community members can get involved. From City advisory boards and council meetings, to voting and civic participation, there are plenty of opportunities to make your voice heard.

With election season approaching and City advisory board applications now open, it's a great time to join the conversation ‼️

What can you expect?
➡️ We'll kick things off with a panel-style discussion, followed by an opportunity for audience Q&A.

➡️ After the discussion, stick around for an open house! Enjoy coffee and donuts, ask questions one-on-one, and connect with representatives from the Buffalo Area Community Center, BHM Community Education, and Wright County Parks & Recreation Department to learn more about their programs and services!

DETAILS:
-Located at City Center in the Council Chambers
-October 28th from 9am-11am
-No cost to attend!

➡Learn more about topics that will be discussed and submit your questions ahead of time at ci.buffalo.mn.us/804/Community-Connections-Collaborative

We hope you'll join us for coffee, conversation and a chance to learn more about your community!

Use your library card to check out fall colors this season!
Check out a seven-day state park pass to get free entry into any state park or recreation area and take in the spectacular foliage happening this fall (). Will you go to nearby Charles A. Lindbergh State Park or venture further to Gooseberry Falls State Park?
Learn how to check out a pass at https://griver.org/library-news/mn-state-parks-program. When you arrive at the park, make sure the pass is clearly displayed on your vehicle dashboard. Library park passes only cover the vehicle entrance fee, so if you’d like to camp, you’ll need to make and pay for those reservations separately. When you are finished visiting, you don’t need to return the pass, just recycle it.
The state park passes are provided as part of the Minnesota State Park Library Program, a collaboration between our library and the . Have you checked out a state park pass yet? Let us know in the comments below!
