There is still plenty of time to sign up for our annual Trunk-or-Treat event! We are looking for volunteers interested in decorating their car, wearing their costume, handing out treats and bringing the fun!!!

This is a great volunteer opportunity for students, school clubs and teams, families, neighbors, coworkers, and more. You're not going to want to miss out on this! !

The cold weather season has arrived, and we are starting our collection of winter coats!

Our biggest need is winter coats for our kids, teens, and parents.
❄Coats can be gently used (no stains/tears) OR new
❄Coats can be kid sizes 4T-12
❄Coats can be adult sizes S to 2X (for teens and parents)
❄Coats can be for boys, girls, women, and men

We are also collecting donations of winter boots, snowpants, hats, and gloves through the fall and winter season.

All donations can be brought to 75 Hickory Street, Building C, Buffalo NY 14204 , any day of the week between 8am and 7pm.

WE NEED YOUR MUSCLES 💪

Are you good at moving heavy items? Can you help us move two appliances? Check out the details below!

🔴What are we doing? We are moving a fridge and stove out of one house and into another for a family getting ready to move out.

🟡When are we doing it? Sunday October 18th OR Sunday October 25th, between the hours of 9am and 5pm. We are flexibile to your schedule!

🟢Who else will be there? Our Director of Family Stabilization, Susan, will be on site to help coordinate everything.

🔵What do I need to bring? Nothing! We will provide the moving van, a ramp, and a dolly.

🟣Where do I go? You will meet us right at the first house to take the appliance out and put them into the van, then you will go to the second house to unload the van and bring the appliances inside.

We are almost out of our tie blankets😱😱😱 These blankets go on the foot of each new bed we make, and add that special touch.

Making a blanket is a great project to do at home on your own or with a group of friends. Whether you are able to make one blanket or 100, we are so grateful!

If making a blanket isn't exactly in your wheelhouse, but you still want to contribute, we are accepting donations of NEW fuzzy and fleece blankets, too!

October is full of fun stuff here at Family Promise, and our first event is coming up soon. Our Youth Programs team and Chef are putting together a special immersive experience-- HOCUS POCUS MOVE DINNER PARTY! Our families will get to watch the film on the big screen, while being served a menu specially curated to match the movie. How awesome is that?!
