It was truly an honor for our co-chairs, Laura Kirkpatrick and Molly Carr, to speak on behalf of the TAP Fund at this year's Women's Bar Association of New York's WNY annual dinner. TAP was recognized with the President's Award for our dedication to uplifting women candidates. So many amazing TAP candidates and members were in attendance.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Gloria Steinman, a leader for women's rights and the fight for equality who laid the groundwork for generations to come. The foundations of the Women's TAP Fund is intrinsically tied to the movement inspired by Steinman.

Today, more than ever, we must continue the work to stand for the rights of women, especially the right to have control of our own bodies and the right to be equal partners in our society. In her memory we will continue her work for generations to come.
