Our First Steps nurse home visitors provide families with compassionate, evidence based support during pregnancy, postpartum, and their early years of parenting. They:
• Use tools that strengthen parent–child bonding
• Focus on emotional well being and healthy coping
• Provide support proven to reduce symptoms of depression, including tools from the Mothers & Babies curriculum
• Adapt their one on one support to meet your needs and goals
• Provide a connection to help you build routines, resilience, confidence, and connection

First Steps meets families where they are — helping parents feel supported, capable, and connected during one of the most important transitions of their lives. Visit our First Steps Central MN website or call 763-276-0441 to get connected to a nurse today!

Wastewater - Info For You!

The wastewater treatment facility in Buffalo, MN collects weekly samples of wastewater and sends them to the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) laboratory for testing. The lab tests for the presence of 4 communicable diseases: Influenza A, Influenza B, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and COVID-19.

We have put these results into a simple, easy to understand format meant to inform you which of the above illnesses are present in the community Buffalo Wastewater Treatment Plant serves.
