We are absolutely overwhelmed.

We walked into this year’s Evening of Hope: Hope on the Horizon with a goal of raising $35,000 for the women and children served by The Bright Beacon—and this incredible community helped us raise $40,952!!

To every sponsor who believed in our mission, every business and individual who donated an auction item, every volunteer who gave their time, and every person who bought a ticket, raised a bid number, bid entirely too much for a cake ❤️, shared a story, or simply showed up in support of survivors—thank you.

Your generosity means safe shelter. It means advocacy, outreach, resources, and support. Most importantly, it means that when a woman in our community reaches out and says, “I need help,” The Bright Beacon can be there to answer.

To our incredible Evening of Hope sponsors, thank you for investing in this mission and making this evening possible. We could not do this work without businesses and organizations willing to stand beside the women and children we serve.

And to our community—you showed up. Again.

This weekend was about so much more than the amount of money raised. It was a room full of people making it clear that survivors in our community are seen, supported, and never alone.
