Our Buhler Bass Fishing teams hit Wilson Lake for TWO days of tournament fishing. Well, Mother Nature apparently heard and said, "HOLD MY WIND!"

💥 EVERY SINGLE BUHLER TEAM PUT FISH ON THE SCALES AT LEAST ONCE THIS WEEKEND! 💥
🏆 SATURDAY — QUALIFIER #2
🎣 JUNIOR DIVISION
* Kesinger / Myrick — 4th Place 🏅 | 6.57 lbs
* England / Neill — 9th Place | 2.59 lbs
🎣 HIGH SCHOOL DIVISION
* Fisher / White — 11th Place | 3.20 lbs

🏆 SUNDAY — QUALIFIER #3
🎣 JUNIOR DIVISION
* Powell / Mihm — Tied for 7th Place | 4.10 lbs
* Kesinger / Myrick — 10th Place | 3.50 lbs
* Comer / Nickel — 11th Place | 2.62 lbs
🎣 HIGH SCHOOL DIVISION
* Fisher / White — 15th Place | 3.05 lbs

Some days you're hauling in hawgs, some days you're fighting the wind, and some days you're just hoping your favorite lure doesn't become a permanent part of Wilson Lake! 🤣

But that's tournament fishing! It takes patience, determination, and the ability to keep casting when the fish clearly have other plans.
We're proud of ALL FIVE Buhler teams for showing up, battling the conditions, and putting in the work!

👏 And a HUGE thank-you to our boat captains and families who make these weekends possible. You weathered the wind right alongside these kids!

🎣 HAPPY SUNDAY, Buhler Crusader Followers!

Welcome to your weekly “Most Useless Fishing Report”, where we provide absolutely no helpful information whatsoever. You’re welcome.

🐟 Fish are, in fact, found in the water.

🌡️ Water temps are temping.

🦈 Fish have fins, so there is a slight chance they have moved since you found them yesterday. Wild concept, I know.

📍 If you’re struggling to find fish, we recommend trying somewhere else.

⬆️ We’ve found fish shallow.
⬇️ We’ve also found them deeper than shallow.

🎣 They’re biting live bait, lures, and probably something else we haven’t thrown at them yet.

So basically…

1️⃣ Fish are somewhere.
2️⃣ They may or may not bite.

🎣💥 BIG BASS VIBES! 💥🎣
The first Bass Tournament of the 2026-27 season is officially in the books at Bill Hill Lake, and the Buhler Bass Fishing Team showed up ready to rip some lips!
We had 5 teams hit the water this weekend, and THREE of them came home with some hardware!

Junior Anglers Big Bass:
🥇 England & Neil — a WHOPPING 3.67 lb fish
Junior Anglers Top 3:
🏆 2nd Place Juniors: Powell & Mihm
🏆 3rd Place Juniors: Nickel & Comer

And our other two teams? They put some absolute beauties in the boat too, just a smidge shy on the length needed to make the cut.

Five teams. A whole lotta casts. Some BIG bites. And plenty of Crusader pride.
Buhler Bass Fishing showed up this weekend to teach the bass a thing or two.
