The Bullhead City Police Department is coordinating planning efforts with event organizers for President Donald J. Trump’s scheduled visit to Bullhead City on Wednesday, October 14.

In preparation for the President’s arrival at the Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport, several road closures and traffic restrictions will take effect Wednesday morning.

• Bullhead Parkway: Closed between Highway 95 and Landon Drive.

• Laughlin Ranch Boulevard: Closed between Bullhead Parkway and Highway 95.

• Airport access: All entrances to the Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport will be closed, including S. Laughlin View Drive, S. Airpark Drive and E. Landon Drive.

Residents who live on Landon Drive will be need to plan to exit their neighborhood via McCormick Blvd. Other neighborhoods and schools affected by the East section of the Parkway closure will be rerouted accordingly by officers stationed at intersections to minimize disruptions. (Refer to the maps posted in the comments). Please plan ahead, allow extra travel time and avoid these areas during the closures.

According to event organizers, unlike President Trump’s 2020 visit to Bullhead City, pedestrian walk-ins will NOT be permitted due to safety restrictions.

Pedestrians will not be allowed to access airport property on foot or approach the event using the Bullhead Parkway or surrounding areas. A restricted trespass zone will be in effect around the airport. Off-road vehicles and pedestrians entering restricted desert areas within the event vicinity are subject to arrest.

All registered ticket holders must access the event using designated shuttle buses. Departure locations, parking information and bus details are still being finalized. We will share additional information as it becomes available.

Vehicles parked illegally or on private property without authorization are subject to towing. Please be respectful of private property and follow all posted parking restrictions.

The use of drones is strictly prohibited.

The event is being organized by the GOP and the White House. The City of Bullhead City and the Bullhead City Police Department are not the event organizers. Our role is to coordinate public safety and traffic planning efforts to help the event proceed as smoothly and safely as possible.

We understand residents have questions and we will continue sharing updates as additional details are confirmed.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we prepare for the visit.
