There is a large land clearing burn occurring in the 400 block of Fire Lane Road. This burn pile is visible (especially at night) from NC-210.

This burn is permitted, managed, and within a containment line, and will be visible for quite a few days.

All, NC DOT is back doing culvert (pipes under the roadway from one side to the other) replacements. They are now on Bethel Baptist Rd. Which is currently closed between 370 - 293 Bethel Baptist. (NC 210 end)

There's at least 6 noted areas that may be on the list for culvert replacements between NC-210 and Elliott Bridge Rd.

Please be careful when out on this road.

We do require basic information to fill out our paperwork.

Good evening. The update for this week is anywhere you want to get on Overhills, you need to come in from the west side/NC-210.

Information just received. NCDOT is closing Overhills Rd between 1685 and 1885 Overhills Rd.

NOTE: Additional closures:

Closure August 17th - Overhills Rd from Lasater Rd to Spiral Branch Ct.

Closure August 24th on Overhills Rd closer to Elliott Bridge Rd.
