Wood poles are an essential part of Burbank Water and Power’s electric system and help deliver safe and reliable electric service to our community.
To support ongoing maintenance efforts, BWP has partnered with Intec Services Inc. to perform inspections of wood utility poles throughout Burbank over the coming months. Residents located within a project area will receive a printed notification from BWP before inspections begin in their neighborhood.
These inspections are part of BWP’s continued commitment to maintaining and improving Burbank’s electric infrastructure.

Billing questions. Infrastructure projects. What's next for BWP customers. These are the conversations happening at kitchen tables all over Burbank — and on June 6th, we're bringing them into the room.
BWP invites you to a community town hall with Mandip Samra, BWP General Manager, where the floor is yours. Ask the tough questions, get straight answers, and hear directly about what's changing, what's not, and what BWP is doing to support you.

This past weekend, a power outage in Burbank was caused by a mylar (metallic) balloon contacting power lines. As graduation celebrations continue this month, we want to remind everyone that mylar balloons must be filled with air in Burbank and securely fastened to help prevent power outages and keep our community safe.
We hope you have a fun and safe graduation season...and congratulations to all the Burbank graduates! Thank you for helping us keep the power on. 🎓🎈⚡
