Burbank RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) was founded in 1973. Burbank RSVP has over 600 active volunteers (age 55+), serving in Burbank and its surrounding communities. Burbank RSVP volunteers serve through a variety of nonprofit and civic organizations, designated as volunteer stations. Volunteer opportunities are available in many areas including: schools, museums, hospices, hospitals

Hey guys! We're having our annual volunteer fair this Wednesday! While it might be too late to reserve your burger, come in and join us for the entertainment, food and fun!

More than 600 people are coming, and more than 40 organizations can't wait to tell you about their volunteer opportunities! :)

We need 4 volunteers each Saturday to help Burbank residents fill up their water tanks with recycled water and record their contact information. Volunteers need to be 16 years or older and able to lift 15 – 20 lbs.

The event is taking place at City of Burbank's Water and Power parking lot at 164 W Magnolia Blvd Burbank, CA 91502. Every Saturday for the Next 10 weeks at 8:45 – 11am!

Dates: August 20, 27. September 10, 17, 24. October 1, 8, 15, 22, 29.

The City of Burbank's home delivered meals program is offering volunteer driver positions to help deliver meals to homebound seniors!

The shifts last from 10:30 am to about 1:00 pm. Monday, Thursday, and Friday shifts are available.

Homebound seniors are men and women who cannot leave their house to buy their own meals due to illness, disability, lack of transportation, etc.

Volunteers must be 18 or older and able to provide proof of a class c driver's license.

Do you love western American history? The Autry Museum of the American West is looking for a Docent volunteer to provide informational tours through the Autry Museum!
Training will be provided on every monday from October 10th to December 12th. The time commitment is 2 to 3 hours and volunteers are needed for 1 day per week.
Candidates should be detail oriented and required to wear gloves to handle some artifacts. There might also be some physical labor involved (bending down and lifting). Contact us at [email protected] or call us at 818-238-5249 to apply!

Burbank Temporary Aid Center has partnered with Goodwill to raise funds, as well as support Goodwill's mission of enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities or other disadvantages through education, training and job placement services.
