You may have heard about changes coming to Medicaid, but nothing has changed yet.
Some adult members will need to renew coverage twice a year and report 80 hours of work, school or volunteering.
Not every HealthChoice Illinois member will be impacted. The Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) will tell you if you need to do these things.
Make sure your contact information is updated!

Lead doesn’t always show itself—but it can still harm your child. 🦹‍♂️ No safe level of lead in children has been identified. A simple blood test is a superhero’s first line of defense. 🩸 Children in Illinois must be tested at 9-12 months and again at 24 months of age. Testing at other ages may still be necessary. Contact your child’s healthcare provider today to stay ahead of this hidden supervillain.
