International Year of the Woman Farmer

The NC Agromedicine Institute is hosting an International Year of the Woman Farmer Celebration at the N.C. State Fair on Monday, October 19, 2026, and they would love for you to join them! The evening will include networking and engagement opportunities, food and refreshments, and a panel discussion featuring women representing different areas of North Carolina agriculture. They’re looking forward to a great conversation about the experiences of women in agriculture and an evening recognizing their contributions to North Carolina’s farms, communities, and agricultural industry!

Learn more about the event: https://ncagromedicine.org/international-year-woman-farmer-nc/

Registration for the event is free, but attendees will still need a valid N.C. State Fair admission ticket to enter the fairgrounds. As a special thank you, the first 100 people to register and check in at the event will receive an appreciation gift!
