Our campus mission is to provide an outstanding classroom experience for all students. We live by the motto, “Striving for the Best, Accepting Nothing Less!” Our students are encouraged to demonstrate a commended attitude in their academics and conduct through staff modeling of commended professionalism. iday” T-shirts. North Joshua Elementary provides an abundance of extracurricular opportunities for our students. They may choose to participate in the North Joshua All-Star Singers, CEO’s (Caring for Earth and Others), Chess Club, Running Club, Lego Robotics, and our highly competitive UIL Academic Team. We are pleased to announce that North Joshua earned all distinctions or "stars" offered by the Texas Education Agency for our STAAR results. Previously, North Joshua Elementary received an Exemplary rating by the state of Texas for 10 consecutive years. These stars and ratings represents the outstanding work ethic displayed by our students and staff on a daily basis. We are also extremely proud of the percentage of students who received Advanced Performance Ratings. The “masters” score demonstrates that students have a deep understanding of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills. In addition, for three years North Joshua was honored as a Texas Business Education Coalition Honor Roll school. This honor is extended to only 4% of the over 8000 school districts in the state of Texas and is awarded to schools who sustain a high level of commended performance over a period of three years. North Joshua Elementary has also received 10 out of 10 stars on Greatschools.com with 5 out of 5 stars from parent ratings. Our campus has been featured on the "Today Show" as an example of a school whose students perform well on state assessments. We are blessed with the highest quality, hardest working staff and students in the state of Texas and look forward to another exemplary school year!
