New in-rack sprinkler system for a customer in Grapevine. This was an expedited schedule and we completed the project in less than 3 weeks from contract approval date to final inspection [included design and 3rd Party Review]. Kudos to the field techs for another successful project.

This is a good example of what not to do. Silicone does not belong on any sprinkler head, even to keep escutcheons from falling out of the ceiling. It’s hard to see from the sprinkler but the silicone had actually found its way to the seat of the sprinkler. Had an actual fire event occurred this sprinkler would likely not have activated properly. It pays off to have your systems inspected at least annually for items that could be detrimental to life safety.
