🌳 Celebrate America’s 250th birthday by planting a tree!

For more than a century, our City of Burlingame has deepened its roots and expanded its urban canopy. As a Tree City community for 47 years, we understand how planting trees today helps shape a greener, healthier community for future generations.

In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, the City has launched the 250 Trees for America’s 250th Birthday Program.

The goal? To plant 250 new trees throughout our community - one tree for every year of our nation’s history.

Residents and businesses are invited to choose from a selection of approved tree species to plant within the City of Burlingame at a discounted cost.

By participating, you can:

✱ Support Burlingame’s urban canopy and Tree City USA legacy.

✱ Contribute to the shade, biodiversity, and a healthier city environment.

✱ Celebrate this milestone by planting something that will benefit our community for generations to come.

Simply apply, select a tree, and plant according to the program’s planting requirements.

Plant today. Grow for generations tomorrow. 🌱
