This morning, staff from Burlington High School participated in A.L.I.C.E. Training. This is their 2nd consecutive year with this training.

This training was presented by myself, SRO Camren Honn. I was assisted by Lt. Garen Honn and several Coffey County Dispatchers.

A special thank you to everyone who helped at this training.

Today was Government day. All Coffey County High School Seniors had the opportunity to tour the Sheriffs Office and the Court House.

The day was started by an opening speech from Jeanne Hass with the American Legion, Flag folding ceremony, and a few words from County Commissioner Mark Peterson.

The Coffey County Sheriff’s Office has several Veterans now serving at our agency. Today two of those Veterans assisted with this ceremony.

A.L.I.C.E. Training was provided to the Coffey County Library last week. A fantastic group of staff learning and training to help keep our Libraries safe!

A.L.I.C.E. Instructors Felix Nunez and Camren Honn. Instructors were assisted by Lt. Garen Honn, Deputy Sam Frantz, Deputy Levi Broers, and K9 Deputy Alec Smith.
