Burlington Fire responded with Hampshire Fire to a pickup truck fire on Plank rd East of Romke this morning. Engine compartment was fully involved spreading into the passenger compartment upon arrival. No reported injuries.

Our day 3 post did not make it, so we will try again.

HBT greeted us with some breakfast and a bunch of hand drawn thank you cards and pictures. That was much appreciated. We had a special guest on day 3. One of the students dad is a Palatine firefighter. He was able to surprise his son by doing that classes presentation.

Day 2 of fire prevention week at Howard B Thomas. It was another good day on the obstacle course having the kids doing activities that simulate what firefighters do. We also had several classes go through the safety trailer and evacuate through various methods.

Burlington Fire responded to a 2 vehicle t-bone accident with entrapment at Ramm and McGough. Maple Park responded auto-aid. Both departments transported 1 patient.
