Longhorn Cavern State Park Longhorn Cavern, located inside Longhorn Cavern State Park, Burnet County, Texas, is one of the worlds largest and most historical commercial caves.

Longhorn Cavern offers guided tours every day. Regular walking tours are a mile and a half long and last about an hour and twenty five minutes. On site guides lead you through the cavern narrating historical and geologic facts. We also offer Wild Cave tours for more adventurous guests. During the Wild Cave tour you will view formations that were only seen by professional spelunkers up until just a few years ago. On staff specialists will guide you into parts of the cave not shown on regular tours. Small passageways and getting very dirty are definitely part of this tour and is not recommended for every guest. Paranormal and Flashlight tours are held monthly. Our Park also offers free hiking trails, a CCC museum, and a three story high observation tower.
