🎉🧠 Trivia, laughter, and great company made for a wonderful evening at The Rivers on Tuesday! We were delighted to host a special Trivia Night for members of our wait list, giving guests a chance to connect, enjoy some friendly competition, and experience the fun and vibrant community life we cherish every day.

📚❤️ A very special morning at The Rivers Landing!

Our beloved resident, affectionately known as "Mother Hubbard," spent time reading stories to our Memory Care residents and the children from River Hills Early Childhood Center. The room was filled with smiles and meaningful connections as generations came together to share the joy of reading.

The fun continued as we celebrated a resident's birthday with a cheerful rendition of Happy Birthday and wrapped up the morning with some creative coloring. 🎂🎨

Moments like these remind us how powerful intergenerational relationships can be, bringing joy, purpose, and connection to everyone involved.

🇺🇸❤️ Today, Minnesota Hospice hosted their monthly Veteran's Café at The Rivers, bringing veterans together for fellowship, conversation, and camaraderie.

This month’s gathering was especially meaningful as one of our long-time residents and honored veterans received a special memorial tribute recognizing their service and sacrifice. Family members were invited to join in this heartfelt remembrance, making the occasion even more meaningful.

We are grateful to Minnesota Hospice for creating opportunities to honor those who have served our country and for helping preserve the stories, memories, and legacies of our veterans.

Please join us in thanking all of our veterans for their service and in celebrating this special tribute. 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

🎉🕺📼 Last week at The Rivers, we celebrated National Assisted Living Week with a fun journey through the decades! 🎶✨

Residents and team members stepped back in time as we traveled from decade to decade, enjoying themed activities and plenty of laughs along the way. From sipping delicious milkshakes during our 1950s "Shake, Rattle & Roll" celebration 🥤🎸, to grooving at our 1970s Disco Party 🪩✌️, and singing our hearts out during 1980s Karaoke 🎤🎵, there was something for everyone to enjoy!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this week so special. The smiles, memories, and fun shared throughout the week are what make The Rivers such a wonderful community. 💙

Today, our residents, families, and team members gathered for The Rivers' 6th Annual Butterfly Release in honor of 9/11. 🦋🇺🇸❤️

As the butterflies took flight, we remembered the lives lost, honored the heroes who courageously served others, and reflected on the strength, resilience, and unity that emerged in the face of tragedy.

May we never forget those we lost and the lessons of compassion, service, and community that continue to inspire us today.
