🚒🔥 Fire Prevention Week is Here! 🔥🚒

This year’s theme is “Charge Into Fire Safety” with an important reminder that Safe Charging Is a Superpower! ⚡🔋

As we go through Fire Prevention Week, let’s remind our communities about the importance of safe charging practices, especially when it comes to phones, tablets, e-bikes, e-scooters, and other battery-powered devices.

A few simple habits can make a BIG difference:
🔌 Use the charger that came with your device or one approved by the manufacturer.
⚡ Don’t charge devices under pillows, blankets, or on beds and couches.
🏠 Keep charging devices where you can see them and away from anything that can burn.
🔥 Stop using batteries or chargers that are damaged, swollen, or unusually hot.

A HUGE thank you to all of our firefighters, fire departments, educators, and community members who continue to make fire safety a priority! 🚒

Thank you for everything you do to educate, protect, and keep our communities safe. Continue doing a great job stressing the importance of fire safety—your efforts truly make a difference!

Let’s CHARGE INTO FIRE SAFETY together! ⚡🔥🚒
