Our Mission

The Gift of Giving, created by Lehman’s Pike EMS in loving remembrance of Chris Kuna, is dedicated to bringing hope, joy, and dignity to local children and families who may be struggling during the holiday season.

Our mission is to unite our community through kindness and generosity by collecting and providing Christmas gifts to children and families in need. We believe that every child deserves to experience the magic of Christmas and to know that their community cares about them.

Chris Kuna was a gentle giant with a heart for children and a lifelong commitment to serving others as an EMT and firefighter. His compassion, generosity, and willingness to help those in need continue to inspire this mission. Through The Gift of Giving, we strive to carry his legacy forward by turning acts of kindness into meaningful moments for local families.

We believe that giving is not measured by the size of a donation, but by the heart behind it.

Our mission is simple: to give hope, create smiles, strengthen our community, and keep Chris’s spirit of giving alive—one family, one child, and one act of kindness at a time.

Sgt. DiFusco is not only a dedicated member of our EMS family, but also a proud member of the United States Army National Guard who has answered the call to serve his country. We are incredibly proud of his commitment, courage, and willingness to serve both our community and our nation.

💙 Lehman Township EMS Gives Back to Our Community! 💙

We are incredibly proud to share the results of our recent community collection benefiting the Victims Intervention Program (VIP)! Because of the generosity and compassion of the residents of Lehman Township, we were able to donate:

🧳 85 suitcases, backpacks & bags
🧴 77 stuffed toiletry bags
🪥 177 toothbrushes
💇‍♀️ 110 hairbrushes

These donations will help provide comfort, dignity, and much-needed essentials to individuals and families who are going through incredibly difficult circumstances.

A HUGE thank you to everyone in our township who donated, shared our collection, and helped make this effort such a tremendous success. Your generosity truly makes a difference! ❤️

We would also like to give a very special thank you to Edwina Wolf for her support and dedication to helping make this collection possible.

And, as always, we are extremely grateful to the Lehman Township Supervisors for their continued support of Lehman Township EMS and our efforts to serve not only our patients, but our entire community. 🚑💙

🚑🧼 THE KIDS ARE TAKING OVER THE AMBULANCES! 🧼🚑

Today, Lehman Pike EMS had the pleasure of having some amazing students from Lehman Intermediate School come out and wash our ambulances as part of their fundraiser! ❤️

These kids worked hard, had fun, and did an incredible job getting our ambulances sparkling clean! 🫧🚑 We are so proud to support our local students and their fundraising efforts.

A HUGE thank you to the students, their families, and everyone who came out to support them. It means so much to us to see our community coming together and teaching our kids the importance of giving back. ❤️

Come out for an evening of community, safety, and family fun at the 1st Annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Dingman Township Park.

The event will feature food and drink vendors, games and activities, a touch-a-truck, raffles, giveaways, local first responders, and community resources. More than 50 nonprofit organizations, businesses, and public safety agencies will be represented, and admission is free.

Lehman Pike EMS and Delaware Twp. Vol. Ambulance, in partnership with Safe Kids NEPA, will provide free child safety seat inspections. Certified technicians will be available to help caregivers make sure their child’s car seat is installed and being used correctly.

Our agencies also plan to distribute variety of free safety-related items and educational materials while supplies last.

We’re proud to announce that The Red Rocket took home Best in Show at the P.P.F. Cruiser Car Show, along with the prestigious Supervisor’s Pick award!

These honors are a testament to the hard work, dedication, and pride that went into restoring and maintaining this incredible piece of history. Thank you to everyone who supported the project, stopped by to see the Red Rocket, and helped make this achievement possible.

The members of Lehman Pike EMS would like to congratulate Jerry Gutierrez on his graduation from high school!

Jerry has dedicated countless hours to serving our community as a student and volunteer, always showing a willingness to learn, help others, and step up when needed. Watching him grow into a skilled EMT and now celebrate this important milestone has been an honor.

We are incredibly proud of all that Jerry has accomplished and excited to see where his future takes him. His hard work, dedication, and commitment to helping others will no doubt continue to make a positive impact wherever he goes.

Tonight, members of Lehman Pike EMS proudly attended the Commissioners Meeting for the official proclamation of EMS Week.

We are honored to stand alongside fellow EMS providers and community leaders as we recognize the dedication, compassion, and commitment of emergency medical personnel everywhere. EMS Week serves as a reminder of the vital role EMS plays in protecting the health and safety of our community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Thank you to the Pike County Commissioners for recognizing the hard work and sacrifices made by first responders throughout the year. We are proud to serve our community and continue the mission of providing compassionate, high-quality emergency care.
