We're a small family farm in Center Cambridge, NY. We grow & mill heirloom grains; and produce quality hay, straw, maple syrup, & perennial flowers.

Tillage and seeding of our fall grains has kept Kristoffer busy over the past week, as well as hand-harvesting popcorn and flour corn. We are at Troy Waterfront Farmers Market today 9-2. It's a great time to plant New England asters outside; we have several available as well as specials on indoor caladium and aloe vera. We also have new rye back in stock as flour and berries, alongside our normal offerings of Širvinta wheat, red fife wheat, and oats. All in all, a very full table at market!

Third cutting tractor race? My raking tractor is slowly gaining on Matthew’s - but actually the race is with Mother Nature, and she has gifted us a few more gorgeous October days to make those last rounds of hay. There’s a poignancy to gathering these last batches - and knowing how precious those hay stocks will be in February. And always, we are in awe at the special place we live on and the land we steward.

Kristoffer is at Troy Waterfront Farmers Market today 9-2, with plenty of rolled oat and wheat flours. Plant special on Caladiums continues, $12 each. New crop of rye should be at market beginning next week!

Note that we are NOT at markets this weekend, as we continue harvesting grain, and taking advantage of the sunny day to do other fieldwork. We'll be back at Troy next week, and Cambridge the first Sunday in September. See you then!
